Comet Lulin

Comet Lulin is a PDF document I found on Ellis’ computer.  I’m not sure if he wrote this himself (as he often plotted his own star maps) or if this was something he found online.   Comet Lulin Feb 13 (PDF) Read more →

End Times by Ellis Warner

Editors Note: Ellis wrote many pamphlets on spirituality as well as science.  He was very much into Bible End Time Prophecy.  If he was in his 50’s today, he would have used blogs to get his message across. In his day he used very specific software that was considerably limited.  He broke each pamphlet into many different files (each with… Read more →

Dad’s Last Voicemail to Me

The above recording was the last voicemail I had from my father, Ellis Warner.  He passed away about 3 weeks later.  I called him back and we chatted for a little bit.  When I think back to our conversation, I believe I spent a lot of time talking about myself and things I was going through.  It seems so petty… Read more →

Ellis had a document on his computer where he wrote a small paragraph about his accordian:

While in College, I decided that it would be good for me to learn to play a musical

instrument. The instrument of choice became an accordian, since I was still an itinerant

student, it would be difficult for me to move around with a piano. I selected this Cruccinelli,

began lessons and had a great time. My lessons and practice only ended after I moved

into an upstairs apartment, since the other tenents really didn’t appreciate good music. I

continued practicing at any opportunity I found myself in a secluded area. During this time,

I quickly learned to transpose music to different keys and when in church services was

able to play in a limited way. I did play it when we sang at water baptismal services

outdoors.
